BOOK REVIEW :

So, the wait is over, and I have come up with a mythological fiction novel. Recently, I read the first book in the duology series, The Avatar's Jewel, by debut author Namasvi Bandarupalli.

The story is set in a hidden Gurukula where six students, including orphan Rudra, are tasked with protecting a Jewel of mystical powers. This ancient Jewel holds the key to maintaining balance between realms. However, danger looms as a Demi God rises, and an ancient obstructer emerges as a Serpent Dragon Reborn, threatening to tip the scales. As Rudra and his friends learn about the Jewel and its secrets, they also train in the ways of the Gurukula, forging friendships and preparing for the impending threat.

While reading this book, I was delighted by the amount of information about Indian mythology it provides. The story is written in a very simplified manner, and you'll definitely enjoy this amalgamation of fiction and Indian mythology.

Another perk of reading this series is that the book is not very lengthy, making it easier to complete. It will hold your attention and leave you eagerly anticipating what happens next in the series!

Here , I would love to add a note the story could have been bit compact and the part one may be stretched for more chapter to give it a complete vibes. This is a subjective opinion which I feel and it has its own advantages and disadvantage when it comes to a duology. I can put more opinion on this after reading the second part of the series and for that you should keep an eye.

Overall, I loved the book and strongly recommend fellow readers give it a try. Lastly, a heartfelt thanks to the designer who created the amazing cover—it caught my eye and added to the overall appeal of this delightful read.
